Chairman “Move on Pakistan” sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand

FAISALABAD: Chairman of Move on Pakistan party, Muhammad Kamran was sent to district jail in Faisalabad on a 14-day judicial remand on Monday.

Regional magistrate Ahmed Raza was hearing the case and during the hearing investigation officer asked the court to extend physical remand of the accused which was at once rejected by the judge.

The court sent the accused to district jail in Faisalabad and adjourned the hearing.

While talking to media, Kamran said that the case has been lodged on political basis which is unacceptable. He said that he didn’t intend to support martial law in the country.

On the occasion, Kamran’s supporters chanted slogans and demanded release of the party’s chairman.

“Talk of leaving has become old, for God’s sake come now,” stated the posters.

Several cases were registered against him in various cities for spreading chaos and unrest in the country through controversial posters.
