CDA deputy director goes missing from Islamabad: police

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) deputy director has gone missing from the federal capital, police officials said on Friday.

“CDA Deputy Director Muhammad Ayaz went missing from the Aabpara Police Station area on Thursday,” officials said. “He left his office at 2:30pm a day earlier and has been missing since.”

Officials further said that the CDA deputy director’s personal assistant informed them that he was missing.

“CDA is inquiring into the whereabouts of the deputy director and all security institutions have been informed that he is missing,” the officials added.

On October 16, SP Tahir Dawar went missing from Islamabad and was found dead in Nangarhar earlier this week. His martyrdom was confirmed by the Afghan government.
