Pakistani-orign British boxer Amir Khan has escaped a deadly road rage incident after being chased by a group of men on the streets of Bolton.

The incident occurred after a car rammed into Amir Khan Range Rover on Wednesday, while he was driving through his hometown.

Several men set on Khan with one man throwing a punch in his direction, The Sun citing its sources said, after Amir was reported to have taken a wrong turn.

The boxer then called the police after being chased by a gang of men.

“We were called to reports of road rage incident/assault,” said a Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman, quoted The Sun.

“It appears the person driving has made a wrong turn and this has angered the person behind them and there’s been an altercation. The driver of the first car was punched. There were no arrests. Anyone with information should contact us.”
