KARACHI: The Sindh High Court on Monday raised several questions on the prosecution in the Baldia factory tragedy case.

The court heard the case today during which Justice KK Agha remarked that it appears that someone had been provided protection.

He observed that in such a high profile case how the big fish were protected. Why the state did not file an appeal against the acquittal of Rauf Siddiqui and others?

The court remarked that the acquittal of the accused from the trial court was not challenged. If the appeal against the acquittal was not to be filed then why the names of the accused were included in the list?
