KOLKATA: Samuel Badree’s early strikes has restricted England to 155 in the final of International Cricket Council (ICC) World T20 on Sunday.

West Indies after winning the toss at Eden Garden Kolkata invited England to bat. From the beginning of the inning the Windies were on top of their game as they remove inform Jason Roy and Alex Hales with just eight runs on the score board.

At the score of 23, Badree removed England skipper Eion Morgan, who made 5 runs but Joe Root stood at the other hand and produced one of his best knocks at the crunch stage. He made 54 before being caught at short fine leg by Sulieman Benn.

At the death over, David Willey made a vital contribution of 21 runs to guide the total to 155 runs on loss of nine wickets.

Carlos Brathwaite and Dwayne Bravo bagged three wickets for the side while Badree picked up two wickets.
