Pakistan superstar Babar Azam shattered numerous world records as he bought up back to back ton against Sri Lanka at Abu Dhabi stadium on Monday.

The superstar batsman scored 101 in the second ODI against Sri Lanka as he became the only batsman in the world to score five consecutive centuries in any contry.

He scored three centuries against West Indies ahead of Champions Trophy, while now he added two more to his career.

That was the 7th time the 23-year-old passed the three figures mark only in his 33rd innings, which is also the quickest for any batsman. Hashim Amla of South Africa had achieved this record in 41 innings surpassing Pakistan great Zaheer Abbas who had same number of tons in 42 innings.

On the other hand he also became the quickest to score 1000 runs at third position. The Pakistani rising star captured this record only in his 16th innings. Previously, the record was held by the batting great Sir Vivian Richards, who scored 1000 runs 19 innings.

It is pertinent to mention here that, Pakistan are now 2-0 up in the five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka with three matches to go, lets’ see who will come on top.
