Asif sees Faiz's issue ‘interlinked’ with PTI founder

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has expressed complete trust in Supreme Court over Panama Papers case.

Talking to media outside Supreme Court here Tuesday, he said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has presented himself for accountability at every forum including Parliament and Judiciary.

To a question, he said it is for the Supreme Court to decide about credibility of the evidence presented by the parties.

Khawaja Saad Rafiq who was also present on the occasion said the proceedings on Panama Papers case are moving forward.

Unfortunately our opponents are doing politics of lies and allegations, he said. They are creating hurdles in the way of development of the country, he added.

He said PML(N) government will continue to work for the development and prosperity of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
