Arrangements finalized for JI provincial workers convention

KARACHI: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karaachi has finalized arrangements in connection with the two days provincial workers convention to be held in Karachi.

The convention has been scheduled to be held on November 26 and 27 at Bag-e-Jinnah.

A high level meeting, chaired by Chief Engineer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, held on Thursday to review the arrangements in this regard.

On the occasion, Engineer Naeem was informed that permission has already been granted for the two days convention. The necessary construction work has also been started at the venue. Booking of stalls was under way, while temporary halls would be erected since November 22nd. A 300 member transport committee would be regulating traffic and other necessary arrangements.

The meeting was also informed that fumigation would also be carried out at the venue of the event.

Engineer Sabir Ahmed would be deputy administrator of the program. Committees on various matters have also been constituted and their heads announced at the meeting.

Expressing his views, Engineer Naeem said that the convention would be proved as a beacon of hope for youth of Sindh in general and Karachi in particular. He asked office bearers to get the work done with responsibility.

He appealed JI workers particularly youngsters to play their due role in success of the program.
