LAHORE: A glorious ‘Change of Guards’ ceremony was held at the tomb of ‘Poet of the East’ Dr Allama Mohammad Iqbal on the occasion of 76 Pakistan day.
A ‘dashing detail’ of Pakistan Air force soldiers assumed the duty of guarding the tomb.
Marching to the tunes the contingent moved to take positions at the four corners of the mausoleum.
Social, cultural, educational and literary organizations have planned to hold different programmes to mark the day.
National flag will be hoisted at all important public buildings on the day.
