Ali Amin Gandapur surrenders before KP police

PESHAWAR: Provincial Revenue Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province Ali Amin Gandapur finally surrendered before police on Monday night and after a formal arrest, the minister was shifted to unknown location.

According to details, the PTI affiliated Gandapur is nominated in an F.I.R for torturing Police Station House Officer (S.H.O) and Presiding officer. Gandapur was taken into custody 48 hours after the registration of F.I.R.

Earlier, police personnel waited for hours to nab Gandapur but he refused to surrender even on the insistence of Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak.

Speaking in a talk show, Gandapur said that he will face the case and will not shy away from accepting his mistake if proven.

PTI leader is also accused of picking up ballot boxes in his vehicle from Hemath Adda polling station during LB election.
