Karachi: Al-Khidmat organized a walk from DC East Office to Sui Southern Gas Company to acquaint senior citizens about their legitimate rights under Senior Citizens Act 2014 in collaboration with Directorate of Social Welfare Sindh and DC east.
Senior Manager Alkhidmat, Manzar Alam, Rizwan Edhi and representatives of 15 non-governmental organizations took part in the event.
On the occasion, Manzar Alam highlighting senior citizens rights accentuated society to realize importance of senior citizens and should respect them by all means.
We are bound to revere our elders and societies where elders are not given respect considered feeble, he remarked.
