Air Chief leads PAF contingent in multinational exercise in Turkish Air Force

Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman participated in the Turkish Air Force’s multinational exercise Anatolian Eagle at Konya here on Wednesday, Radio Pakistan reported.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman led PAF contingent comprising of six jets of the 9th ‘Griffins’ squadron.

By flying an F-16 jet himself, he led the PAF contingent comprising of six jets of the 9th ‘Griffins’ squadron that are currently participating in the event.

Ambassador of Pakistan Sohail Mahmood, Air Chiefs of the Spanish and Azerbaijani Air Forces, senior commanders of US Air Force, Royal Air Force UK, German Air Force, and high ranking Turkish generals witnessed the Anatolian Eagle multinational exercise.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman is visiting Turkey on the invitation of his Turkish counterpart General Akin Öztürk.

During his two day stay in Turkey, the PAF Chief held fruitful meetings with top Turkish military leadership and discussed avenues of more cooperation in the military field.
