Age limit for doing B Ed. removed

Karachi: The Sindh government has decided to remove the age limit for teaching course B.Ed for those interested in the teaching profession.

A meeting of the Board of Governors of the Sindh Teachers Development Authority was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani in which the members proposed to increase the age limit for teaching course B.Ed.

Participants differed on the issue, but Education Minister Saeed Ghani said there should be no age limit for acquiring knowledge, adding that it was not right to limit knowledge to age restrictions.

After consultation with the participants, it was decided to remove the age limit for B.Ed.

Saeed Ghani said that legislation in this regard would be made soon.

Earlier, the age limit for B.Ed was 28 years.
