Aerial firing a curse for society: SSP Operations

PESHAWAR: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations, Sajjad Khan has said that aerial firing was a curse for the society and any person found involved would be booked under clause 302 in case of any human loss.

Talking to a Jirga in the jurisdiction of Regi police station, Sajjad Khan said the police would utilize all available resources to eliminate the curse and trend of aerial firing which caused irreparable losses to innocent people.

SSP Rural, Furqan Bilal, SHO Asif Ali, area Nazim Nasir Khan, Chairman Akhtar Ali and a large number of area elite were present in the jirga.

Sajjad Khan said police would go to any extent to eliminate the pests of aerial firing, drug peddling, unauthorized use of loud speaker and hiring of residential and business places without registration with relevant police station.

He said “the history of police was packed with sacrifices and we would do our best to get more support of the masses to fight against terrorism and other heinous crimes”.

He asked the people to settle their petty issues through public liaison committees and not to be indulged in rivalry or clash. He also asked the area elders for eliminating rivalries in their areas through their positive role.

The SSP Operations also directed the police staff to give proper stature to the people coming to police stations for their complaints.
