SARGODHA: The district police on Sunday claimed to have arrested 28 drug dealer and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons from them.
Police spokesman said, in drive against drug pushers and criminals the teams of different police stations conducted raids and arrested 28 outlaws and recovered 1830 gram Heroin, 4275 gram Hashish, 898 bottles of liquor, five pistols of 32 bore, six Guns of 12 bore and two Rifles 444 along with 30 bullets from their possession.
The arrested accused were identified as Mazhar Hayat, Nasr Iqbal, Ghulam Shibbir, Munir Ahmad, Zaheeer Ahmad, Ghulam Haider, Gull Khan, Naseer Ahmad, Arshed, Arshed Ali, Sultan Ahmad, Shahid Iqbal, Muhammad Irfan and others.
Police have registered separate cases and started investigation.
