FAISALABAD: Special price control magistrates took action against 5,127 shopkeepers during Ramazan and imposed Rs 5.6663 million fine for profiteering and overcharging.
A spokesman for the local administration said here on Thursday that magistrates visited 7,909 shops and stalls in markets during Ramazan and found 5,127 shopkeepers and venders involved in profiteering.
