The district police claimed to have arrested 10 drugs dealers and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons.
A police spokesman said Saturday that the accused were identified as Waheed Abbas, Muhammad Akram, Abdul Rauf, Sikandar Hayat, Nasrullah, Khaliq Nawaz, Mazhar Hayat, Ghulam Hussain, Ghulam Abbas and Mohsin Abbas.
Police recovered 1,382g heroin, 1,423g hashish, 20 bottles of liquor, two pistols and a rifle with 57 rounds from their possession.
