KARACHI: Karachi police arrested at least 26 suspects from different areas of east zone of the city in overnight raids on Wednesday.
East zone police led by SSP Pir Muhammad Shah conducted search operation in several areas including Umar Colony, Railway Lines, Sindhi Muslim Housing Society and PECHS Block 6.
Police interrogated more than 120 people during the operation which lasted several hours.
At least 26 people were taken into custody by police including six wanted criminals and six Afghan nationals. A pistol, drugs and alcohol were also recovered by police during the raids.
