Elections in Punjab not difficult but we have our own weaknesses: Zardari


LAHORE: Former president and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that elections in Punjab are not difficult, but we have our own weaknesses.

He said that he was expecting 50,000 votes in yesterday’s NA-133 by-election.

According to a local TV, addressing the party workers, the former president Asif Zardari said that the PPP made great sacrifices for democracy and remained imprisoned.

He said that the PPP had received the majority of votes in the by-election yesterday. However, he said that he expected 50,000 votes.

Asif Zardari said that the election was taken from us by the holding RO election. He said that there is no place in Pakistan where there is no PPP flag.
