When I came into politics, I had to face mafia: Imran Khan

Imran says time proved terrorism has no religion or nation

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that when he came into politics, he had to face mafia.

In an interview, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he participated in sports around the world for two decades and had many successes and setbacks, but Allah gave him the greatest gift of faith. Only Allah grants achievements and honour, he added.

He said that no one can be forced into the matter of religion and when you fail, analyze yourself. Ego ruins any person but true faith teaches you to control your ego.

Imran Khan said that the Quran liberates man and man learns from his failures. When I came into politics, I faced the mafia and my character was assassinated during the last 20 years, he added.
