PM Imran chairs cabinet meeting


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a cabinet meeting here today and reviewed the political and economic situation in the country.

The prime minister took the Cabinet into confidence on his recent visit to Saudi Arabia. The meeting was also briefed on the $3 billion financial assistance received from Saudi Arabia.

The cabinet meeting was also briefed on the talks with the banned TLP. Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed apprised the cabinet of the prevailing deadlock with the banned organization. The Cabinet was also briefed on the legal issues involved.

The Cabinet members agreed that no concessions should be made to those who have caused loss of life or property.
