KARACHI: The Supreme Court on Monday ordered demolition of Nasla Tower in one week.
The Supreme Court’s Karachi Registry heard a case related to the Nasla Tower.
Heading a bench, Chief Justice of Pakistan ordered to raze Nasla Tower within a week time.
The apex court directed to the Karachi commissioner to demolish the residential tower using a controlled-ammunition blast. It also ordered the commissioner that the demolition process should not cause any damage to the nearby buildings and people.
The city commissioner was also directed to ensure payment to Nasla Tower affectees from the builder.
