ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has warned masses of slapping more restrictions if they did not vaccinate themselves by Sept 30.
The interior minister said that NCOC did its best to deal with Coronavirus as its work had been recognized by the entire world.
Rasheed appealed to the nation to get themselves vaccinated against the Covid-19. He said that citizens should get second dose of the vaccine by September 30.
The interior minister warned that after September 30, various restrictions are going to be imposed. Unvaccinated people will deprive of various facilities after the deadline, he added.
Earlier, Karachi Police had arrested 33 citizens for not possessing Covid vaccination certificates.
Sindh Police Spokesperson Shazia Jahan had said that 33 citizens had been arrested while 18 cases had been registered in the city’s East district.
She added that the arrests were made on the ordered issued by the Sindh government.
SHO Sohrab Goth Zubair Nawaz said that two people identified as Habib Rehman and Muhammad Khalid were arrested for not possessing Covid vaccination cards.
He said a case had been registered against them under Section 188.
