Hundreds of Palestinians injured as Israeli forces attack on Al Alqsa mosque

Al-Quds: Hundreds of Palestinians were injured in Al Alqsa mosque after they were attacked by Israeli forces on Monday.

The Palestinian Red Crescent, in a statement to reporters, said that Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters and hurled stun grenades on the Palestinians in the mosque.

It added that 50 of the injured had been hospitalised. However, the local medics said that the number of hospitalised is higher than the reported.

Over a dozen tear gas canisters and stun grenades landed in the Al Aqsa mosque, a press photographer reported.

Al Aqsa mosque is the Islam’s third holiest site that is being attacked by Israeli forces during the holy month of Ramazan.
