LAHORE: TLP chief Saad Hussain Rizvi has reportedly been released from Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat jail on Tuesday
A local English language newspaper quoting Punjab Prisons Department Public Relations Officer Attiq Ahmed said that the chief of banned Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan has been released from Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat jail on Tuesday.
Saad Hussain Rizvi has arrived at the Yateem Khana Chowk to address his party workers and supporters after being released from the Kot Lakhpat jail.
The chief of the banned TLP has been released hours after its agreement with the government.
According to the agreement, the government will present a resolution on deportation of French Ambassador in the National Assembly today while sit-ins will be ended by TLP from all over the country including at the Masjid Rehmatul Lil Aalameen.
