Islamabad: An 80-year-old murder suspect has bee arrested from a court after rejection of pre-arrest bail plea.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Musheer Alam in the Supreme Court heard a pre-arrest bail plea of an 80 years old suspect of murder.
The suspect is accused of killing shopkeeper Naved Chand along with his sons. During the hearing, the accused’s lawyer told the court that his client was being investigated and he is a senior citizen that is why his bail should be accepted.
Justice Yahya Afridi said that according to FIR accused Ghulam Rusool had only challenged the victim. At this the lawyer said that accused had challenged the victim and tells his sons to kill him.
The accused’s sons are still absconder and they are also wanted in other murder cases.
The court rejected the bail application after checking the record and police arrested the accused from the courtroom.
