KARACHI: The Sindh chief minister has directed the police to lay a network of 10,000 surveillance cameras across the city to monitor criminals activities.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah issued these directives while addressing a meeting on law of order.
He said that the overall law and order situation in Karachi had improved as the port city’s ranking had shifted from 6th in 2014 to 103rd this year on the World Crime Index. Mushtaq Mahar, the provincial police chief, told the meeting that the New Delhi had been ranked 71 while Washington 52.
