Lockdown lifted in Islamabad, businesses allowed to open all week


ISLAMABAD: Markets, shops and shopping malls in the federal capital have been allowed to operate throughout a week, after which business was fully open on Saturday.

The lockdown for markets, shops and shopping malls in Islamabad has been completely lifted and shopkeepers in the city will now be able to do business all week.

The federal government has issued a notification which has been welcomed by businessmen.

Shoppers are also happy with the opening of shops in Islamabad and say that after coming from the office, there were difficulties in the markets due to the limited shopping hours, now they are able to shop on holidays.
