Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has asked the federal and provincial governments and law enforcement agencies to explain why the attackers on the Jamaat-e-Islami’s Kashmir rally have not been arrested so far.

The attack is a work of the enemies of Pakistan and Islam in which there is no doubt that India lobby is involved. This attack was not carried out by any individual but a whole conspiracy behind it which benefited India and harmed Pakistan, the JI chief said while addressing a presser here on Friday.

He added that 37 workers were injured while one martyred in the attack. The youth of Karachi have made great sacrifices in the struggle for independence of Kashmir.

Siraj said that the nation will never forgive those who betrayed the Kashmir issue. The performance of the federal government on the Kashmir issue has been very disappointing and the entire nation and Kashmiris are unhappy about it. We will continue to support the struggle for independence of Kashmir, he added.

Senator Siraj-ul-Haq further said that looking at the current situation in Karachi, it seems that the city lacks ownership. Every government tries to collect from Karachi but does not give back anything to the city. The situation is that as soon as it rains the streets of the city are filled with water. Man has stepped on the moon and is now heading towards Mars but the rulers in Karachi are still failed to manage the drainage system.
