Karachi: Following a failed terrorist attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the commandoes of Sindh Police’s Special Security Unit SSU have been deployed at the sensitive places in the city.
Speaking to a local TV, SSU chief Maqsood Memon said that the commandoes had been deputed at eight sensitive points in Karachi.
Previously, the special weapon and tactics team (SWAT) of the SSU was deployed at its headquarters located in Hassan Sauare.
The SSU chief said that the commandoes were capable enough to deal with any untoward situation in the city.
The step has been taken following the failed terrorist attack on the PSX to make foolproof security arranegments.
Karachi Additional IG Ghulam Nabi Memon has ordered to enhance the deployment points of SWAT in the city.
