Karachi: The Karachi Electronics Dealers Association (KEDA) has announced to reopen shops from Friday.
Addressing a presser here, the office bearers of the association said that all the shops would reopen from tomorrow in the city.
They said that the lockdown was unacceptable as the traders would offer strict resistance now. The restrictions should be lifted because a large number of traders had gone bankrupt.
It is to be noted that the Sindh government had initially announced the smart lockdown across the province until July 2 but now it has been extended further for two weaks to limit the spread of coronavirus, according to a notification.
It said that the wedding halls, educational institutions and restaurants will remain closed whereas home delivery is allowed till 11 pm.
Business centres and shops will close at 7 pm while medical stores will remain open, the notfication concluded.
