Online education introduced in Sindh for primary classes


KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department on Saturday introduced the online education for primary schools.

According to the education department, the students from Kindergarten (KG) to Class-V would be imparted online education, for which SELD Learning App has been designed.

The project of online education has been prepared in consultation with the Microsoft and Unicef, the provincial department said.

Mathematics, science, English and Urdu would be taught online. The online course is available in English, Urdu and Sindhi languages, it added.

Work is in progress on the online education system for the students from Class VI to XII.

Earlier in March, the educational institutions were closed across the country due to coronavirus pandemic.
