KARACHI: Public transport service has resumed in Karachi after lifting of restrictions here on Wednesday.
However, the transporters as well as passengers are not fully following the standards operating procedures SOPs, a local TV reported.
Most of the passengers, bus drivers and conductors are seen without wearing face masks in public transport.
Sindh Transport Minister Owais Shah has warned that if any vehicle was found violating the SOPs then it would be seized.
Restrictions on public transport have also lifted in other parts of the Sindh.
On Tuesday, the Sindh government had allowed to resume public transport in the province, which was banned in March to limit the spread of coronavirus.
