Balochistan High Court CJ Jamal Khan Mandokhel contracts coronavirus


QUETTA: Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel has contracted the coronavirus.

Sources said that Justice Mandokhel had isolated himself at his residence after his coronavirus test came back positive.

They said that the condition of BHC CJ is stable and he is performing his official duties from home.

Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel has been heading a bench hearing a case concerning coronavirus in the Balochistan High Court.

Earlier on Thursday, two more members of the Sindh Assembly had fallen prey to coronavirus as the number of cases are on the rise in Karachi.

Sources said that Saadia Javed and Sajid Jokhio had contracted the virus. Both the lawmakers have isolated themselves at their homes.

After the two new cases, now the total number of virus cases among the members of the Sindh Assembly have reached to eight.

Of the eight infected members, three have so far recovered while the others are under treatment in the province.
