Karachi to face another cold wave from 27th, city’s Quaidabad area becomes highly toxic

KARACHI: Karachi is likely to experience another cold wave from January 27.


The Met Office on Wednesday forecast that strong winds will continue till today evening in the port city.


The mercury is expected to fall again after the departure of the westerly wind system in Karachi.


Another weak spell of westerly wind system may affect Balochistan and upper areas, it added.


The atmosphere in Karachi’s Quaidabad area has become highly toxic after the presence of poisonous particles in the air has reached to 190, claims US Air Quality Index.
