KARACHI:Launching its admissions campaign for the academic year 2019-2020, country’s premium technology institution, Usman Institute of Technology, has announced lowering of the admission application fee by a huge 80%. Students who have cleared the admission test of the NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET) will be eligible to avail this admission application fee waiver, Students who could not clear the NED test still have a chance to earn an NED degree.
The said fee waiver is aimed at encouraging students to apply and pursue professional education in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UIT. The institute, which is affiliated with the NED University of Engineering and Technology, is committed to making education affordable through such initiatives.
“We want students to become a part of UIT’s innovative learning culture and help us in our mission of promoting technology education in Pakistan,” said Dr. Zahir Ali Syed, Usman Institute of Technology. “The waiver of admission application fee is also a part of this commitment and will ease financial woes of Pakistan’s bright students to some extent,” he added.
Students can enroll for BS programs in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Admissions are also opened in BE Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems, Electronic, Telecommunication, and Power.Application forms are available for download at www.uit.eduand should be submitted by 26th September 2019.
