PASNI: Unidentified militants attacked the air traffic control radar of Pasni airport in Baluchistan on Monday night.
While Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel has foiled terrorists attack on the Air Traffic control radar of the airport.
The ASF spokesman said the terrorists launched attack on the radar in organized manner, however, the ASF personnel thwarted the assault. He said, “All the installations of the Pasni radar were safe.”
Soon after the militant attack, a contingent of Frontier Corps (FC) has been dispatched to Pasni.
The spokesman further said no loss of life from ASF side occurred in the action.
Early, according to Levies sources, terrorists launched attack on the Air Traffic Radar in Pasni up from the nearby mountains.
Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Abdul Hameed said terrorists shot fire on the radar 8kms far from the location and managed to flee after exchange of fire with law enforcement agencies.
