1st Test D2: Pakistan 227 for 1 at day-close

KHULNA: Pakistan scored 227 runs at the loss of one wicket on the second day of the second test of the Bangladesh tour.

Earlier today host Bangladesh was all out for 332 runs. Host BD resumed play today with 236 runs for wickets at the close of day yesterday.

Opener Muhammad Hafeez contributed a magnificent 137 runs that included two sixes and 12 fours, of 179 balls to Pakistan’s score. He was still at the crease when the day came to a cloe. Sami Aslam contributed 20 runs including a six and two fours while one-day Azhar Ali was still at the crease with 65 runs, including one six and two fours, off 136 balls.
