Pakistan level T20I series against New Zealand

Pakistan managed to level the T201 series 2-2 against New Zealand after a 9-run win against the Kiwis.

New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl against Pakistan in the match played at the Gaddafi Stadium.

Playing first, Pakistan scored 178 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, the New Zealand team was bowled out for 169 runs in the last over.

Earlier, Pakistan, playing first, had given New Zealand a target of 179 runs to win. Babar Azam played an innings of 69 runs that included 2 sixes and 6 fours. Fakhar Zaman scored 43 runs and Usman Khan scored 31 runs.

In response to the target of 179 runs, the New Zealand team was bowled out for 169 runs in the last over.

Tim Seifert was the top scorer for New Zealand with 52 runs while Michael Bracewell scored 23 runs, James Neesham scored 16 runs and Mark Chapman scored 12 runs. Zakary Foulkes was dismissed for zero.

Shaheen Shah Afridi sent 4 players to the pavilion, Osama Mir took 2 wickets while Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim took bagged one wicket each.

It should be noted that Pak-New Zealand T20 series has been tied 2-2. The first match of the series was canceled due to rain.
