Islamabad High Court suspended Fawad Chaudhry’s non-bailable arrest warrant in the contempt Election Commission case.

Islamabad High Court Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri issued a three-page written hearing order in which the court suspended the non-bailable arrest warrant on Fawad Chaudhry’s assurance.

In its written order, the court asked Fawad Chaudhry to appear before the Election Commission on July 20 and submit a certified copy of the proceedings of the Election Commission.

The court in its judgment said that the petitioner’s counsel stated that the bailable warrant was not complied with, the petitioner’s counsel is of the view that the order of non-bailable warrant should be annulled, the order of suspension of arrest warrant automatically ineffective after July 20. will be done.

The court issued a notice to the Election Commission for July 26 and sought its response.
