General elections will be held before November 10: Dastgir

Federal Minister for Energy and Muslim League-N central leader Khurram Dastgir has claimed that the general elections in the country will be held before November 10 this year.

The PML-N leader said that if the Assembly completes its term, it will take 60 days or if it is terminated earlier, the election will be held after 90 days.

The Federal Minister for Energy said that the general elections in the country cannot go beyond November 10, 2023. The National Assembly has approved all the necessary resources for the election in the budget, but according to the law, the date of the election has to be given to the Election Commission.

He further said that the inflation in the country has reduced by 10 points but is still at an unbearable level, the economic anxiety and instability is now decreasing.

Khurram Dastgir said that in 2007, the monitoring setup in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa lasted for 150 days, unlike in 2018, the result of this election will come according to the people’s vote.

Regarding the incidents of May 9, Federal Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir said that preparations are being made, cases will be filed soon, cases will be filed with evidence and evidence, those who attacked civil property will be tried by civil court. Those who attacked military installations will be tried in military courts.
