The pharmaceutical companies announced to stop production of the medicine after a week.

According to Qazi Mansoor Dilawar, the leader of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, raw materials have become more expensive due to the expensive dollar, while electricity and gas have also become expensive, so it is not possible to make medicine at the current price.

They said that they will stop the production of medicines after a week. Due to the huge increase in the value of the dollar, production is not possible at the current prices of medicines. Various companies have started giving notices to the government and DRAP to stop production.

He said that 10 companies in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi have given notices to stop production. After a week, the production and supply of medicines will not be possible for the companies. The prices of raw materials, electricity and gas have increased tremendously. In the next few days, all pharmaceutical companies will give notices to stop production.

Qazi Mansoor Dilawar said that the government and DRAP do not understand the problems of pharmaceutical companies and people.

On the other hand, Drape officials say that they have not yet been notified or verbally informed by any pharmaceutical company to stop manufacturing.
