Police have raided the house of former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in Gujrat.

Muslim League-Q leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi says that the police have surrounded my residence in Gujrat.

On the other hand, Moonis Elahi has shared the video of the police raid on the residence of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi on behalf of the Punjab Police on social media.

It should be remembered that a few days ago, the police raided the residence of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in Gujarat.

Earlier this month, police had raided the house of former Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi in Gujrat early Wednesday, sources said.

Officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said a heavy contingent of police raided Parvez Elahi’s residence and detained the security guards of the Kunjari House.

Police barged into the residence with the help of a ladder, the sources said. But, they left after searching the house.

The police is yet to confirm or deny the raid.

However, Elahi confirmed the raid and said that his employees were searched and harassed by the police.

“We were not told anything about the raid. We will take legal action against the raid on our house,” said Elahi.

Multiple former and current people related to Elahi are being probed following the end of his tenure as Punjab CM.

Last week, Punjab’s anti-corruption watchdog registered a case against Elahi’s former principal secretary Mohammad Khan Bhatti for allegedly taking bribes.
