LAHORE: Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has severely criticized the government for the increase in petrol prices and said that Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar increased the price of petrol to salute the nation after the return of Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Maryam Safdar.
He said that Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are to blame for the rise in the price of petrol, the inflation has gone out of control, the government has no time to take revenge, the law and order situation has been destroyed, crimes are increasing rapidly.
Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that administrative governance is also non-existent, employment opportunities have stopped from development projects, unemployment is increasing in the government of Mohsin Naqvi.
He said that if the inflation is beyond the control of the government, now they are leading the country towards default.
