LAHORE: The high level committee of Tehreek-e-Insaf has prepared its recommendations on the issue of dissolution of provincial assemblies.

According to sources, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood, in which Mian Aslam Iqbal, Mahmood-ul-Rashid, Hammad Azhar and Ejaz Chaudhry and other members participated.

Sources say that the members of the committee have recommended to dissolve the assemblies by December 20, while some members from Punjab suggested not to dissolve the assemblies immediately.

According to the sources, the members opined that the timing should be taken into account while playing political cards, the assemblies should be dissolved when the pressure to dissolve the assemblies of the federation and other provinces can increase, at that time billions of rupees worth for development works in the constituencies. Tenders have been floated and several government projects are in final stages of completion.

Sources said that Imran Khan will take the final decision on the date after the meetings of the parliamentary boards on the recommendations of the committee.
