‘We do not have any problem with Imran’s helicopter landing’

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that they do not have any problem with PTI Chairman Imran’s helicopter landing at Parade Ground if the security institutions have no objection.

Speaking on a local TV show, the interior minister said he has directed the Islamabad administration to decide the matters on merit.

Earlier, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has strongly condemned blocking of roads by PTI protesters in Rawalpindi.

He said that under the Punjab police protection PTI workers are blocking roads in Rawalpindi. People are badly affected by the protests as their businesses is shut. Educational activities are also being affected and patients are unable to reach hospitals, he said.

The interior minister said that this situation is not only unbearable but also painful for millions of people. A handful of PTI workers have been disturbing the people for the last four days by putting chairs on the roads.

Rana Sanaullah said that the people’s patience has been exhausted due to the recent disturbing situation. We do not want any kind of political conflict and we cannot allow it, but there is fear that the people start stand up against Imran Khan’s destructive ideology.

He further said that he also appealed to the local leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N and members of the National Assembly to play their role in getting the people out of these difficulties.

Replying to a question about the party’s prolonged sit-in and road blockage in Rawalpindi, Sanaullah warned the PTI against blocking roads and causing any inconvenience to the general public.
