ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed has predicted elections in September.

Talking to a local TV, Sheikh Rasheed said that economists are being invited to Rawalpindi, Islamabad for the interview of caretaker Prime Minister.

He said that majority of intelligence agencies were of the view that elections were the only solution.

Sheikh Rasheed further said that they were, are and will remain special to the institutions, the government contacted the institutions and asked for one and half year guarantee but the institutions did not give. When the institutions became neutral and separated themselves, the government is no longer running from them.

Earlier, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed has announced to go to the Supreme Court if overseas Pakistanis are not given the right to vote.

In a statement, Sheikh Rasheed said that the country was running with the money of 10 million overseas Pakistanis.

He said that overseas Pakistanis would also protest against this decision of the present government.

It should be noted that Law Minister Nazir Tarar during a meeting said that we are a poor country, we can not vote by setting up polling stations around the world. Even in embassies, such a large scale overseas voting is not possible.

Former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed had criticized the current government, saying that “wherever you go in the world, you will find dirty eggs and tomatoes. They used to call us selected and they themselves are selected and imported.”

Sheikh Rasheed said that there is a situation of hatred and animosity against each other in the country. Dissident MPAs in Punjab will disqualify.

He said that Pak Army should be respected, what happened to Roza-e-Rasool PBUH should not have happened. These five people will get dirty eggs wherever they go including Europe.
