PPP ready to take responsibility for difficult decisions of govt: Kaira

ISLAMABAD: The PPP expressed readiness to take responsibility for the difficult decisions of the government.

Talking to a local TV, Qamar Zaman Kaira, PPP leader and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs, said that we are not only in power sharing but also in carrying the burden.

He said that there is a difficult time not only on the economic front but also on other fronts. There is a need to move forward with collective responsibility, he added.

Earlier,  PPP senior leader Qamar Zaman Kaira taking a jibe at Prime Minister Imran Khan said he was his “favourite cricketer but shattered all his dreams by entering politics.”

Speaking on Geo News programme, Qamar Zaman said that he PPP needs to work more in Punjab, noting that 25 per cent to 30 per cent of Pakistanis believe the PPP can form a government in the province.

On the other hand, other participant of the show Ishal Fayaz said that Nawaz Sharif is a better leader than Prime Minister Imran Khan.

She said that she has no interest in entering politics, even if Maryam Nawaz makes her the offer.
