JOHANNEBURG: South African wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock has announced his retirement from Test cricket with immediate effect.
In message on Twitter, the Proteas wicket-keeper batsman said that he was retiring from Test cricket to spend more time with his growing family.

In a statement, de Kock had said that the birth of the first child is expected and now he wants to give time to his family.

It should be mentioned here that the 29-year-old cricketer had started Test cricket against Australia in 2014 and scored 3300 runs in 54 test matches. He had 6 centuries and 22 half centuries in Test career.
