MUMBAI: After the recent T20 World Cup defeat, tough food restrictions have been imposed on India cricketers.

According to Indian media, after poor performance in the World Cup, a new diet plan has been prepared for players in which pig and beef food has been banned to keep players healthy and fit.

However, the report states that if a player wants to eat meat, he is only allowed to eat certified halal meat.

It should be noted that this is the first time since 2007 that the Indian team could not reach the semi-final of the T20 World Cup.

Media reports claimed that the team management does not want any compromise on players’ fitness.
